My art transfigures the natural world into a deeply expressive and highly individualized visual expression of inspiration and motivation. Tempering movement and color with painterly gestures, my work extends to both abstract and traditional expression. Each piece achieves an equilibrium by using elemental geometrics, layered acrylics and oils, and diverse mixed media applied to canvas, wood, or paper. My art captures the beauty and uniqueness of landscapes, cityscapes, seascapes, people, and animals.
