Ever since I was a child and my grandmother handed me her wooden box of buttons. I was excited by the possibilities of what to do with them. I also had an aunt who was a seamstress and worked in a factory. She’d bring me trimmings and ribbons. I’m really a novice sewer but love the feeling of fabric and color. And so I ‘play’ with fabric.
